As a frequent user of the internet, you're probably no stranger to the frustrating experience of having to solve CAPTCHAs on various websites. Enter Privacy Pass, a powerful Chrome extension that revolutionizes the way we interact with CAPTCHAs. With its unique features and seamless functionality, Privacy Pass provides a hassle-free browsing experience on Cloudflare-protected websites.
The Unparalleled Benefits of Privacy Pass
Privacy Pass leverages unlinkable cryptographic tokens to eliminate the need for solving CAPTCHAs. This means that instead of wasting precious time deciphering those annoying puzzles, you can simply redeem a token and bypass the CAPTCHA process altogether. This not only saves you time and frustration but also protects your privacy by removing the need for tracking your CAPTCHA-solving activities.
How Does Privacy Pass Work?
Privacy Pass works in conjunction with two trusted Privacy Pass Providers: Cloudflare and hCaptcha. Follow these simple steps to get started:
1. Get Tokens
Click on the extension icon and select one of the providers. A new page will open, presenting you with a CAPTCHA challenge to solve. Successfully solve the CAPTCHA, and Privacy Pass will generate and store tokens for future use.
2. Use Tokens
When you encounter a CAPTCHA on a website that uses one of the supported providers, Privacy Pass automatically utilizes its stored tokens to effortlessly pass the CAPTCHA challenge without any intervention from you. Say goodbye to the frustration of manually solving CAPTCHAs!

17 Reviews For This Extension
I'm not 100% sure about how exactly this is supposed to work. Note that I'm a fan of everything Cloudflare, and that's why I still have this extension turned on. However, I have increasingly been suspected of "not being human" — possibly because I'm using the Brave browser? It's Chromium underneath, obviously (or the extension wouldn't work!), but perhaps Brave blocks some additional things, managing to confuse Cloudflare. The point of "saving" a token so that you just need to get validated as being human once (or once per day...) makes a lot of sense, but it's not obvious how it works *now*. In the past, it *did* work in 100% of the cases, as others have reported. Currently... it's most a question of luck, I guess. Note that it's not easy to understand _what_ triggers the actual requirement for "human validation"; I have it appearing on my own websites, installed on my very own servers, which are also behind Cloudflare, but I would *assume* that, by now, Cloudflare would have "learned" that I'm supposed to be a legitimate user of my own websites — or so I would think. Granted, nothing can be worse than using Tor to browse the regular Web — you get validated twice, first (usually) by Cloudflare, and then by Google, which is _much_ worse and takes a lot of time, clicking on all those pictures until Google's happy... it's an annoyance in exchange for being able to browse the Web without being tracked.
Advertised as an extension to fix issues with Cloudflare verification, while it just makes the verification problems worse. Not recommended.
It works perfectly for my use case.
I have been a user of this extension for years, and I find that it is very helpful (provided that you have a thorough understanding of its functionality). However, it is no longer as effective as it was in previous years, as the pass no longer provides the pass (it now simply resolves the challenge in front of you). The challenge is now more susceptible to failure; however, the convenience of the other successful attempts has already overtook it.
I thought it was supposed to prevent challenges and pop-ups.
The challenge fails every time on a website that I need to access frequently.
I've been using it for a long time now, but the pop-ups of late are really annoying.
What is going on with the pop-up interruptions?
Finally works after latest update..
Happily used for probably a year. Is now causing constant pop-up interruptions. Had worked nicely in the background until now. Essentially broken now. Uninstalling.
With the update that was announced on January 4, 2024 found over at blog.cloudflare[dot]com/privacy-pass-standard this extension causes the pp-attester-turnstile.research.cloudflare[dot]com/challenge page (the same shown in the screenshot depicting the privacy pass token validation page) to repeatedly pop up, over and over non-stop. Literally interrupting any internet browsing that is being done, even when idly watching a video and at the time of writing, up to this point, it has already popped up at least 8 times before automatically closing itself before allowing me to continue typing. Uninstalling the extension was the only way to prevent this incessant disruption of the "latest protocol version". This literally began occurring after a restart of chrome which I can only presume triggered an update of the extension. If this is happening to you, remove the extension and the repeated cloudfare popup tab will cease to interrupt.
i never downloaded this and it was causing me problems
6 stars rating, and this is the one more than 5.
No longer works. Clicking on the extension to get more passes redirects to information pages instead of the ability to solve CAPTCHAs. Can no longer get passes.
Does nothing.
Cannot get passes anymore.
its not working anymore not getting cloudfare tickets after completing serve it is still showing zero cloudfare tickets hope you will reply
